A Poem: Staring Into Nothingness
Is it possible,
To sit and stare,
Into nothingness?
Can you close your eyes,
Empty you thoughts,
And think of nothing?
No!
Nothing does not exist.
There is always something.
Because
There is always God;
Who always existed,
Who will exist always;
Who made everything from nothing.
Since the first “God said…”
Something always existed!
For our good,
For his pleasure.
A Prayer: You Are
Lord, you are beyond…
All understanding
All comprehension
All reality
All reason
Because…
They are created
And contained in you.
Father, this day I recognize
That you are
Incomprehensible,
Immeasurable,
Indescribable.
You are beyond all.
Yet in your greatness
You choose to watch over
And care for me.
A Passage: For Reflection:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created.
— John 1:1-3

This was a great poem and a good reminder of God's incomprehensibility as our Creator. I also liked the prayer! Thanks for your creativity and strong theology.
