I try stacking the pieces of my life,
In piles,
Sorted by categories
I have made;
Each carefully named,
Chosen,
Decided upon,
By my personal algorithm.
Day after day,
I meticulously,
Place the pieces
Exactly where I want them,
Believing they will never move,
Unless I move them.
Life doesn’t work that way!
It is not an organized affair!
It is tangled yarn,
Pulled and torn,
Rolled and worn;
Until untangling becomes
A giant game of Jenga®
Waiting to lean against nothing,
And crash.

YEP!
